Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026
We run a reference library, not an advertising business. We collect the minimum needed to operate accounts, purchases, and email — and we do not sell or share your personal information with anyone for advertising. Ever.
What we collect
- Account: email address, optional display name, and a password handled by Firebase Authentication (we never see the password itself).
- Purchases: your plan, purchase dates, and subscription status. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Email signups: the address you give us for the starter pack or updates, and whether our emails to you were delivered.
- Operations: short-lived download tokens and standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept for security and debugging.
We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts. The site stores your Firebase sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in; there are no advertising cookies.
Who processes it for us
Three service providers handle data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments: Google Firebase / Google Cloud (accounts, database, hosting — servers in the United States), Stripe (payments), and Brevo (email delivery). We share only what each needs to do its job.
Transactional email (verification, password resets, receipts) is part of having an account. Marketing email — the starter pack link and occasional preparedness updates — is sent only to addresses that asked for it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link that we honor immediately.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and purchase data while your account exists, and purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can delete your account yourself, immediately, from your account page on the website or the Account screen in the app — see what is deleted and what is kept. If you can no longer sign in, email us from the account's address. Unsubscribing from updates removes you from the mailing list without touching your account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live: email info@offlinesurvivalhub.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
The service is not directed to children and accounts require you to be at least 13. If we learn we hold personal information from a child under 13, we'll delete it.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS, access to production data is restricted, and download links are single-use and short-lived. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and notify account holders by email before it takes effect.
