Pull from official .gov sources rather than scraping npmaps.com (same PD maps, but provenance is cleaner). The NPS Arrowhead logo and 'National Park Service' branding are protected — strip logos or avoid implying NPS endorsement. A few maps embed licensed commercial imagery; check credits per map.
