MedlinePlus health topic summaries
National Library of Medicine, NIH
Thousands of lay-language, physician-reviewed topic summaries in English and Spanish, bulk-downloadable — instant breadth for an offline health encyclopedia (anaphylaxis, burns, dehydration, wound care, etc.).
Editor's notes
STRICTLY separate public-domain NLM content from licensed content: no A.D.A.M. encyclopedia articles/videos, no ASHP/licensed drug information, no non-watermarked images. The policy also bars branding MedlinePlus content into health IT systems in ways implying NLM endorsement — keep the courtesy line and no-endorsement framing.
